TfNSW selects LSM Technologies TMSystems for Fleet to mitigate Bus / Tyre Fires

LSM Technologies have been selected by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to provide our TM System Technologies for approximately 2,500 Buses as the first large roll out of our technology to assist with the mitigation of Bus Fires related to Tyre and Wheel Well (Locked Brakes / Tyre Pressurisation, failed Wheel Bearings) issues.

As already reported in our news article Tyre Monitoring Systems recommended to mitigate rising Bus and Coach Fires, the BIC Fire Advisory Report 2014 states that the number of Bus Fire Claims in Australia have increased significantly with 72 claims in 2012 alone.

Also the OTSI (Office of Transport Safety Investigations) reported Bus Fires in NSW 2015 that 40% of Bus Fires were confined to the Wheel Well.

LSM Technologies TMSystems are proven heavy duty, robust and reliable technology for monitoring / reporting on Tyre Pressures and Temperatures.

Our TMSystems are SAE certified, have been field tested and certified by numerous Heavy On / Off Road Haulage,  Dangerous Goods Transport and Blasting Operators and especially Field tested with Rocky's own Transport Trailer Study- see the related news articles below.

LSM Technologies TMSystems not only provide enhanced Safety, but also enhanced Cost Downs, Tyre Service Life, Braking, Traction, Fuel Economy and Productivity.

LSM Technologies are proud to be their selected technology and service provider.
