The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Inland Transport Committee has a working group for investigating engine fire suppression systems and tyre fire protection systems on the Dangerous Goods Transport. TMSystem technology has a long and proven track record of providing tyre fire mitigation by monitoring not only tyre pressures but also wheel well temperatures.

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Inland Transport Committee has a working group for investigating engine fire suppression systems and tyre fire protection systems on the Dangerous Goods Transport.

The objective of the working group is to reduce the likelihood of a boiling liquid expanding vapour explosion (BLEVE) or other catastrophic failure of the tank due to a fire.

As seen in Australia, there is a focus on eliminating the risk of wheel / tyre fires for all types of heavy vehicles. This is especially in regard to such catastrophic potential events with dangerous goods transport, in regard to mitigating risk of tyre / wheel well fires.

TMSystem technology has a long and proven track record of providing tyre fire mitigation by monitoring not only tyre pressures but also wheel well temperatures.
