Have the boys at LSM Technologies found the best thing since disc brakes for motorbikes? Just came back from a "quick" and technical 200k ride and the deceleration wobble has completely gone :) The bike feels amazingly good even considering how bad the tyre's really are!! This stuff really works, and its cheap!!

Just came back from a "quick" and technical 200k ride and the deceleration wobble has completely gone :) The bike feels amazingly good even considering how bad the tyre's really are!! this stuff really works, and its cheap!!- See the Video.
Now for the complete story:
I ride a 2006 XV1600 Roadstar with Metzler 880 marathons and after doing a hard and fast 14 day run two weeks ago to the Great Ocean Road from the Gold Coast and back via the Summerland, Waterfall, Thunderbolts, Bucketts , Bells line, Putty- including a quite few more spectacular and demanding side roads in between- my poor rear tyre is down by half, front slightly cupped and has developed the dreaded 60- 40 km / hour deceleration shimmy / wobble and she is tracking and stepping out on corners a bit.
This started on the way down after running over a speed-curbing device (about 200 metres of 70 km / hour speed lines / bumps), just before Newcastle on the M1. Obviously they can't read signs in NSW, so some clown has put theses 50 odd speed bumps across the road at 2 metre intervals!!
Needless to say between that @##$# speed curbing device and a bit of road kill, combined with all the extra gear and the "misses" on back the near new Metzlers after the 5000 kms return trip know they have been for a ride!!
On my return and after reading overseas testimonials and viewing videos of “Ride-On”, thought I would source it and give it a go- if just for the added security of it’s proven puncture protection. Also after reading its self-balancing qualities maybe there was the off chance it may sort out the deceleration wobble as a bonus.
First of all I cannot speak highly enough about the team at LSM Technologies. Peter Woodford and Tim Griffiths the Service Operations Manager are not only professional but also a credit and a fine example to those who ever want to learn about customer service and how a business should be run.
After placing an order online, Peter immediately emailed and advised the Ride- on MOT Bottles of the product was a couple of weeks away. After a couple of follow up conversations regarding why I was wanting to use it on my “used tyres”, he advised me that he doubted if the product would rectify cupping in an old tyre but it was proven for puncture protection and would defiantly assist in reducing cupping problems on “new tyres” and to wait till when I replace my existing set. But I said what the hell, its a worth a shot!!
Due to the “do it yourself ” bottles not arriving from overseas for a few more weeks, what did Pete do? He sent down Tim from Brisbane to the Gold Coast with a commercial drum of the Ride- on MOT and the application system!!!
Bloody hell, its not like I own a “trucking company” and he was trying to generate business, all he wanted was to get it in a few bikes and to get honest Australian reviews for this proven product so hell yes I will happily write a factual and completely honest review.
So we loaded the “Roadies” tyres today with product just to see if it will improve the shimmy and give me the puncture proof peace of mind!!
Took the bike out yesterday and went down the coast to brunswick
heads for lunch, two up and went via old highway to get a few
"twisties" to spread it around the tyre :)
It took a while to get the right feel again, but are defiantly feeling better and there is NO deceleration wobble, its completely gone!
There is a slight tracking still, but I think that is suspension issue
or just the cupping and back tyre wear , as there is a vibration and
noise on a lean , so probably caused from front cupping and back tyre
being a bit squared and worn in middle.
But guys if you are getting some new rubber on, do yourself and your pocket a favour and read the overseas blurb on this stuff. It cleans up easy as it is water soluble, non-toxic and has no rims corrosion problems. I for one am going to run it from now on. Don't be turned off by past products (Slime etc.) this stuff looks like the ducks nuts.
After balancing your tyres, load the required dose of Ride- on MOT as per chart and forget about re-balancing after fitting tyres as you wont get accurate readings and the MOT does self balance the wheel after a few kms.
