How It Works

The DriverView® Camera Device simply "plug and play"'s into the LSM CabSense® Driver Fatigue+ Distraction + Behavioural Unit.

The DriverView® Camera has onboard storage for recording Videos, Accelerometers to detect hash braking, cornering or a collision event if it occurs.

The On- board Video Images and Event Data can be stored and then can be downloaded via BT / Ethernet on return to the depot or immediately streamed to your dispatch / control centre as any event occurs if connected to our  FSM Fleet Safety  + Tracking Manager® Telematics system .

Key Features

LSM DriverView® uses proprietary Algorithms and Machine AI (artificial intelligence) to ascertain potential hazards for the Driver.

Some of its key predicative features are:

• DashCam (Forward Facing Camera): If the Camera is used only as Forward Facing Camera then it will record video clips of choose of events such as harsh braking, speeding, harsh cornering and in an event of a collision.

In addition, where our ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) add- on is utilised, some additional features provided by DriverView® are, 

• FCW (Forward Collision Warning): Monitors the road ahead, alerting the driver off an imminent collision with other vehicles. 
• HWM (Headway Monitoring):  Monitors distance from vehicle ahead, alerting when the distance becomes unsafe.
• VRU (Vulnerable Road Users detection): Scans the road and pavement, alerting the driver of an imminent collision with pedestrians or cyclists.
• LDW (Lane Departure Warning): Tracks lane markings on the road and alerts driver when a vehicle drifts out of its lane.

LSM DriverView® is part of the CabSense® but can also be fully integrated into LSM Sentinel® VSS and with all data transferred to dispatch via LSM FSM® Fleet Tracking + Safety Manager Telematics System.

 LSM DriverView® (and CabSense®) works hand in hand with LSM FSM® Fleet Safety Manager + Tracking Telematics System to provide real time data and alerts back to base, ensuring a proactive approach to enhance Workplace (and public) OH&S, Equipment Damage Control, Maintenance Cost-downs and Productivity.
